Dragon Lair new generation 3D -
Reviewed by: Smokey - April 2006
Remember the laser disk Arcade Game Dragon?s Lair? Yes this is the game remade without glitches, bugs or those annoying cut scenes when your finger just wasn?t fast enough. This game uses a 3D engine based on the identical story of the old game, defiantly for platform gamers. Although a lot of the content is very different almost all movie is identical if not a little better! You play as Dirk a fearless knight who?s nothing more than skin and bones, battling your way through a castle fighting funny little mystical creatures, swinging, climbing, falling, river riding and dodging the dragons breath. All this action with puzzles and combat to save the treasured Princess Daphne captured by a wicked sorcerer. Don?t expect this to be a ten-minute thrill, there are a lot of puzzles and younger children may find this a bit dull at times, although colourful cartoon graphics do require the young at heart. D&D fans will love this, and it is possible to take each room in turns between several people, the time soon flys when your all wondering how to dart through raining fire balls, with one of the magical crystals. A great title, although very lengthy!
