The wildest title in gaming is back, and significantly
updated from the crime wave that was Vice City. This time
around, you must help young blood Carl Johnson try to
sort his life out in anarchic San Andreas, a massive
fictional American county featuring three distinct city
zones and huge areas of wide-open countryside.
As usual, you can jump into just about any vehicle and
start causing mayhem, but some exciting new gameplay
twists will keep you on your toes, like weight-gain!
Spend too much time standing about eating burgers and
Carl will begin to look like a desk-bound games
developer! A trip to the gym will sort this out, but in
the meantime you'll find that Carl can't run as hard or
as fast as he could before. Stamina shouldn't be an issue
for the player, though, as the graphics are beautifully
rendered and the gameplay typically smooth. Another
instant classic from Rockstar.
